Company overview

American Expedition Vehicles (AEV) was founded in 1997 in Montana. The company manufactures parts and accessories for off-road vehicles, primarily Jeep Wranglers since 2015 and Ram Pickups. Michael Chetcuti and Michael Collins became partners in 2006, joining the original founder, Dave Harriton. AEV’s design and testing operations are located in Missoula, Montana. In 2007, AEV expanded its operations to Commerce Township and Wixom, Michigan. These facilities include a corporate office, vehicle build facility, and warehouse. Over 90% of AEV’s products are manufactured within 200 miles of Detroit. The company initially focused on Jeep Wrangler parts and packages, introducing the Brute Double Cab in 2013. They later added the Filson Edition and began producing Ram Pickup models, including the Prospector and Prospector XL.
