Company overview

Briggs Automotive Company (BAC) Limited is a British car manufacturer specializing in the design and production of the Mono, a single-seat sports car. Established in 2009 by Neill and Ian Briggs, BAC initially consulted for major car brands before developing the Mono in 2011. The initial Mono was powered by a modified Ford Duratec engine, later upgraded to a Mountune Racing unit in 2015. Subsequent models, including the Mono R launched in 2019, incorporate advanced features such as graphene-enhanced carbon fibre and a new ram-air intake system. BAC has achieved numerous awards and lap records in various competitions, including Top Gear and evo magazine. The company focuses on lightweight automotive technology and has established a Mono Owners’ Club in 2018.
