Baltasar Cars is a Spanish electric sports car manufacturer founded in 2011. The company’s founder, Batasar López, a Formula Electric racing driver and engineer, initiated the project in Barcelona. Baltasar Cars focused on developing road-going electric sports cars from 2011 onward. The company’s engineers worked on their first car model for ten years, developing it from initial concepts to a production-ready vehicle. The first Baltasar Cars model, the Revolt, debuted in April 2021. The Revolt is a two-seater track car with an electric drive system and a streamlined design. Baltasar Cars plans to produce the Revolt in low volumes, catering to individual customer preferences. Initial deliveries of completed cars are scheduled for mid-2022, with a price of EUR 230,000 per unit.
