Company overview

Caparo Vehicle Technologies (CVT), formerly Freestream Cars Limited, was a British company established in 2004. Graham Halstead and Ben Scott-Geddes founded the company, initially developing technology for the McLaren F1 project. In 2006, Caparo acquired Freestream Cars Limited, with Sean Butcher facilitating the deal. Angad Paul became chairman following the acquisition. The company produced one vehicle, the Caparo T1, a two-seat rear wheel drive car inspired by Formula 1 racecars. It sold for $300,000 and received confirmed orders for fifteen cars by 2012. CVT entered administration in 2015, and the company was fully dissolved by 2019.
