Weichai (Chongqing) Automotive was established as a wholly owned subsidiary of Weichai Power Co., Ltd. in 2012. Formerly known as Chongqing Jialing Chuanjiang Automobile Manufacturing Co., Ltd., the company is located in Chongqing, China. It manufactures vehicles including M1, M2, M3, N1, N2, and N3 series vehicles. In 2013, Weichai Auto introduced the Enranger brand for the Chinese market. The English name is Enranger, and the Chinese name is Yingzhi. Enranger produces passenger vehicles such as crossovers, MPVs, and pickup trucks. Production began in 2014 at a facility in Chongqing with an initial capacity of 100,000 vehicles annually. The company later planned to increase this capacity to 300,000 vehicles per year. The Enranger brand includes models such as the 737, 737 EV, 727, G5, G3, and EX1. The VGV brand was launched in 2019 as a light passenger vehicle brand.
