Company overview
Eunos was a Japanese automobile marque produced by Mazda from 1989 to 1996. The company launched Eunos alongside Autozam and ɛ̃fini in the late 1980s to diversify its offerings within the Japanese market. Eunos was positioned as a fun-to-drive, upscale brand separate from Mazda’s standard models and ɛ̃fini’s luxury vehicles. The marque debuted in Japan with the Eunos 500 in 1992, and vehicles were exported to other markets. Citroën products were sold through Eunos dealerships during a period from 1991 to 1996. The Amati brand, intended for North American sales, was not launched due to economic conditions.
