Company overview

Frazer Nash Limited began as a British sports car manufacturer in 1922, founded by Archie Frazer-Nash. Initially operating as a small business focused on building cars from GN components, the company produced approximately 350 chain-drive models between 1924 and 1939. In 1927, a new company, AFN Limited, was formed with Harold John Aldington acquiring control. The Aldington brothers then managed the business until 1987, when AFN Ltd was sold to Porsche GB. During this time, AFN licensed Bristol to produce BMW 328 engines and related models for sale in Britain. These post-war cars were produced from 1948 to 1957 and became highly sought after by collectors. Frazer Nash also served as the official importer for Porsche in Great Britain from 1956 to 1965.
