Jetta is a car brand created in 2019 through a joint venture between the Volkswagen Group and FAW Group. The initial Jetta model gained popularity in China, serving as the basis for a growing range of vehicles. Production occurs at an FAW-Volkswagen joint venture plant in Chengdu. Sales began in 2019 with 162,000 units sold and continued to grow through 2023. In July 2024, Jetta vehicles began sales in Russia.
