Company overview
Ascari Cars Ltd. was a British automobile manufacturer founded in Dorset in 1994 by Klaas Zwart. Zwart previously held leadership positions at Petroline, a company that produced downhole technology. The company’s name honored Alberto Ascari, the first double winner of the World Championship of Drivers. Ascari Cars launched its initial limited-edition model, the Ecosse, in 1998.
