Company overview
Casalini, founded in 1939 by Giovanni Casalini, is an Italian company involved in the design and manufacture of light vehicles. The company’s factory is located in Piacenza, Italy. Initially, Casalini produced three-wheelers and moped bikes until the late 1960s. In 1969, they introduced the Sulky, a microcar with a steel monocoque body and engine options of 49.6 cc or 125 cc. The company then developed the Willam Lambretta, a four-wheeled model for export with 49 cc and 125 cc engine choices. From 1994, Casalini began producing light quadricycles in Italy. Subsequent models included the Kore 500, Sulkydea, Ydea, Sulkydea LV, and Sulky. In 2010, the M10 was introduced, with a sporty Daytona variant. Two companies, Mech-Plant S.R.I and Target S.R.I., supply components for these vehicles. The models feature corrosion-treated steel frames and composite material bodies, with glass doors and disc brakes.
