Company overview

HTT Automobile, a Canadian automotive company based in Quebec, developed the HTT Pléthore. The initial prototype, known as Locus Pléthore, debuted at the 2007 Montreal International Auto Show. The car’s chassis and body are constructed entirely from carbon fiber, resulting in a rigid structure. It was initially designed with two engine options: a supercharged 6.2L V8 LS9 producing 750 horsepower, or an upgraded homemade V8 engine with 1,100 horsepower. Pratt & Miller supported the development of this latter engine, drawing from technology used in the Corvette ZR1. The HTT Pléthore first appeared on CBC’s Dragon’s Den in 2011. A subsequent redesign, the LC-1300, featured a 8.3L V10 engine sourced from the Dodge Viper in 2013. HTT planned to produce a limited number of vehicles, with six cars pre-sold at the time of its television appearance.
