Company overview

Radical Motorsport Limited, established in 1997, is a British manufacturer and constructor of racing cars. The company began by building open-cockpit sportscars for road use and track competition, initially based on Kawasaki motorcycle engines. Radical’s early success was marked by the 1100 Clubsport and the Prosport, both utilizing Suzuki or Kawasaki engines. In 2001, Radical introduced the SR3, which quickly became their most popular model, with over 1000 units produced. Subsequent models include the SR8, featuring a powerful RPE RPX V8 engine, and the SR10, utilizing a Ford EcoBoost 2.3L turbocharged engine. Radical has also been involved in international motorsport, notably competing in the Le Mans Prototype class with the SR9. The company currently supports 14 official Radical race series globally, including the Radical Challenge in the UK and various single-marque championships across North America and Australia. In 2013, Radical entered the British Formula Ford championship with the SR3 and later the Mygale M13-SJ.
