Company overview
Ranz was a Chinese automotive marque created by Tianjin FAW Toyota Motor Co., Ltd. The company launched the Ranz brand in April 2013, following the presentation of three concept vehicles between 2013 and 2017. These concepts included the Ranz EV, initially based on the Toyota Corolla and launched at the Guangzhou Motor Show in 2014. The E50 EV, a subsequent version of the Ranz EV, featured a 95-horsepower electric motor and reached a top speed of 120 kilometers per hour.
