Ronart Cars is a British sports car manufacturer established in 1984 by Rona and Arthur Wolstenholme, located in Peterborough. The company designs and produces sports and racing cars for both road use and track days, with unique designs ranging from open-wheel racing cars to modern sports vehicles. The W152, launched in 1985, was the first car produced by Ronart. Production of the W152 continued until 2003, with a second version (Mk2) produced from 1996 to the present. In 1999, Ronart took on new joint ownership and developed the carbon fibre Ronart Lightning V8, which received over twenty-four orders at its launch. Ronart also licensed the Vanwall brand in 2004, creating three new Vanwall car designs over ten years. Iain Sanderson joined Arthur Wolstenholme in 2006 to work on Vanwall production and the W152, developing the Lightning GT electric sports car in 2008. Manufacturing of the W152 continues today under Ronart Cars Limited.
