Shuanghuan Auto, officially Shijiazhuang Shuanghuan Automobile Co., Ltd., was a Chinese automobile manufacturer based in Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province. Zhao Zhigang founded the company in April 1988. Shuanghuan acquired Red Star in 2002 and later was purchased by Liaoning SG Automotive Co., Ltd. in 2009. The company used Vehicle Identification Number HBJ. Shuanghuan produced several models including the Laifu/Laiwang, Laibao/Rabo S-RV, Jiaolian, SCEO/CEO, and Noble/Bubble. A partnership with Wheego Electric Cars resulted in the joint production of vehicles such as the Whip. In 2016, China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology shut down Shuanghuan due to failure to meet production evaluation standards.
