Company overview
Puritalia Automobili introduced the Berlinetta at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. It is the company’s first production vehicle and represents a modern interpretation of 1960s grand touring cars, specifically drawing inspiration from the AC Cobra. The Berlinetta utilizes a hybrid powertrain combining an American-supplied 5.0-liter V8 engine with a Ford supercharger and an electric motor from YASA Limited. The powertrain delivers 965 PS and 1,248 N⋅m of combined power. A 7-speed automated manual transmission manages the engine and electric motor output. The car’s chassis is constructed with a carbon fibre monocoque and an aluminium subframe, while the body panels are entirely made of carbon fibre. The interior features a 12.3-inch touchscreen display and leather upholstery. Production is limited to 150 units, each hand-built according to customer specifications and sold to selected brand ambassadors.
